The prompter is not following my voice.+
Check that Microphone and Speech Recognition are enabled under iOS Settings → SpeakCam. Loud rooms also affect tracking — as a fallback, switch "Follow" at the bottom of the recording screen to constant-speed or manual mode.
Where do my recordings go?+
Tapping save writes the video straight to your Photos library. If you see a permissions warning, allow "Add Photos Only" under iOS Settings → SpeakCam → Photos.
How do I change quality, aspect ratio and zoom?+
Tap the badge at the top right of the recording screen (e.g. 1080p·60) to switch camera, aspect ratio, resolution, frame rate and codec. Tap the magnification at the top left (e.g. 1.0×) for a zoom slider — or just pinch anywhere on the preview.
Can I change how the script is chunked?+
Yes. Open settings from the bottom right of the recording screen. "Segmentation" can follow punctuation (natural sentence breaks) or use fixed-length single lines. Font size, latency compensation and drag sensitivity live there too.
My front-camera footage looks flipped.+
The "Mirror" setting controls both preview and output. On, it behaves like a mirror and any text in frame reads backwards — turn it off when you are filming text.
Can I delete the sample scripts?+
Yes. They are only there to help you get started — swipe left on any of them in the script list. Nothing else is affected.
Which languages are supported?+
The interface is available in English, 简体中文, 繁體中文, 日本語, 한국어, Deutsch, Español, Français and Português. Display language and speech-recognition language can be set independently — an English interface with Chinese recognition, for example.
How does the floating prompter work? Does voice-following still work while I record in another app?+
In Prompter mode tap “Float”. The prompter shrinks into a Picture in Picture window that stays on top while you switch to the Camera app or any recording app, and voice-following keeps working; only an app that takes exclusive control of the microphone switches it to constant speed. Tap the window to hide it, double-tap to resize, drag to move. Floating is a Pro feature.
Subscriptions and refunds
View or cancel your subscription under iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled entirely by Apple — please file at reportaproblem.apple.com, as we cannot process them on your behalf. Full rules are in the Terms of Service.
